Whoa, that was really fast. Thanks so much for this update! Genius+

We need to rally opposition fast. Can you try to find info about a public hearing?

Treatment for Salvia?
That's ridiculous.

People need to go get an education,

No doubt.  I wonder if it is illigal to posses the plant it's self.  They make such pretty house plants.

It passed the house . . . but good news, the bill died in the Senate!  I called the LRC today asking about the status, they told me that the Senate never came to a conclusion so it just died.  The bill won't carry over into the next session, it will have to be re-introduced if they want to try again.

So we're safe in Kentucky. . . for now. . .

Apparently, KY legislature is having some kind of "Emergency Session" called by the governor next week.  The session will last 5 days.  I'm pretty sure this bill is not going to be discussed, it sounds mostly like budgeting stuff (which I think would make it even less likely to pass) but I'll keep an ear out and see if anything changes.  I hope not, I just ordered two plants Smiley

BTW anyone else here from Louisville?

Just on the other side of the river,  about 30 miles north in Scottsburg IN.  Lets hope KY and IN don't follow its neighbors mistakes.....

Excellent Cory.

Tell them to do this with all ethnobotanicals tho, not just Salvia.
